The Pleasant Litchford Fund is established through the Upper Arlington Education Foundation (UA+ED), which is an established and dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that privately funds and supports programs, materials, and opportunities that maintain, strengthen, or enrich the students’ environment and educational experiences, the expenses of which exceed the budget of the Upper Arlington City School District.
The designated purpose of the Pleasant Litchford Fund is to support programs, materials, and opportunities that promote diversity, equity, inclusiveness, empathy, compassion, and respectful engagement among Upper Arlington students, staff, and families.
The Fund will be fully endowed when the balance reaches $10,000. Programs, projects, and experiences that are supported with this fund will be determined through a Grants Application Process approved by the UA+ED. Donations may be made in any of the following ways: cash, check, credit/debit card, stock, bequest, living trust, charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, charitable remainder annuity trust, charitable remainder antitrust, provision in a retirement plan or IRA, or a whole life insurance policy. Donations that exceed $10,000 will help increase the principal of the fund.
